Just completed the Beginners Open Dive Course and received my certification. Had been in numerous times as my son got certified there about a year ago. Everyone I encountered was super nice and friendly. When we got in the pool to learn and practice skills I was struck by how knowledgeable and professional they were. While in the water for certification we encountered many other schools. Even as a beginner it was obvious we were with the best teaching crew and seeing other schools flounder was kind of sad. Took the Open Water Diver course with my son at Gaspar's Dive Shop. The whole experience was great, from excellent customer service purchasing gear to the dive class teaching and instruction. Master Dive Instructor Spero Soros is an excellent teacher who patiently and thoroughly ensures you know the material. My son and I are looking forward to participating on charter dives with the Gaspar's Dive Shop crew.

Met with a few dive shops interviewing them for a cert class. Pretty much met everyone at Gaspar’s my first trip in and just chatted for a while. Great people. I signed up the next day for my open water course with Spero and Joe. Man are they great divers, instructors and hold a great class. Really make sure you learn the right way to do things. Understand it all. Helped those feel comfortable who needed it. We went out to the lake for our open water dives and hands down our group had the right edict and didn’t look like a bunch of rookies compared to other dive classes out there. I purchased all my own equipment with Stephanie before the course and she took the time and talked me through all the products. The dive masters Matty and Mike who came with on our open dives were also fun and extremely helpful. Would highly recommend the shop. The course. The people to anyone. Truly happy with my decision to go with this shop and can’t wait for my next dive with them. A+++++++
